1inch in June: faster swaps, new networks and a full calendar

June brought major updates, new networks and key events – catch up in our quick digest.

Updates, news and integrations

Solana swaps are now live in 1inch Wallet, allowing users to trade over 1 mn tokens directly on Solana – with just a few taps and always at the best rates. This upgrade brings seamless Solana trading into the app, further connecting ecosystems and advancing 1inch’s mission to unite DeFi.

A major upgrade to Pathfinder, 1inch’s route discovery algorithm, was rolled out in June. The new version delivers up to 6.5% better swap rates compared to the previous one. By splitting trades across DEXes, consolidating steps, and making smarter use of concentrated liquidity, the enhanced Pathfinder makes swaps faster, more cost-efficient and more rewarding for users.

In another step forward, the high-speed Sonic network was integrated with 1inch, unlocking seamless swaps on- and across chains. Assets can now be moved quickly and securely between Sonic and other supported networks, with top-rate execution through 1inch.

The Unichain network was added to the list of supported chains on 1inch, offering users more flexibility when interacting with DeFi. It’s now accessible via the dApp, Wallet and APIs, with MEV-protected swaps powered by 1inch’s intent-based model and Unichain’s TEE-based infrastructure.

Security got a boost as well – 1inch launched a bug bounty program, offering up to $500,000 in rewards across five vulnerability tracks. The initiative invites ethical hackers to help make DeFi safer for everyone.

To support builders, 1inch announced Unite DeFi – a global hackathon to run in collaboration with ETHGlobal. With a prize pool of up to $525,000, the event calls on developers to connect networks and bring more transactions onchain.

Events

From June 30 to July 3, the eighth edition of the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) took place in Cannes – Europe’s largest annual Ethereum gathering focused on technology and community. 1inch had a strong presence across talks, side events and its signature party, while also introducing the Unite DeFi hackathon at the Builder Meetup.

Earlier in the month, 1inch co-founder Sergej Kunz joined Blockchain Founders Group (BFG) Portfolio Day as a speaker. Sergej also gave a keynote at the Incrypted online conference, titled “Expanding Horizons of DeFi: Swap Marketplaces and Beyond,” offering a look into emerging trends and the evolving architecture of DeFi.
