In accordance with a recently passed 1inch DAO proposal, support for the Fantom, Kaia, and Aurora networks will be discontinued.

1inch has always aimed to offer users access to the broadest possible range of networks, expanding to new chains as they gain meaningful traction.

However, the DeFi space is inherently volatile, and some networks fall short of expectations, showing limited traffic and growth potential that do not justify the cost of continued support.

Recently, the 1inch DAO conducted a comprehensive four-month evaluation to assess the long-term viability of the blockchain networks currently supported. Based on the findings of that evaluation, a proposal was submitted to deprecate the Fantom, Kaia and Aurora chains due to their relatively low volume and high operational costs.

The proposal was supported by the 1inch community, and these networks will no longer be available to users in the 1inch dApp, 1inch Wallet and Developer Portal.

Users who have interacted with Fantom, Kaia and Aurora via 1inch should consult this Support Center article to make sure that the deprecation of these networks won’t affect them in a negative way.

Meanwhile, 1inch is working on adding support for new popular and promising networks.

Stay tuned for news and updates from 1inch!
